Once upon a time, and still within the pages of some really out-of-date guidebooks, Robson Street was a bazaar of trinkets and delicacies from the Fatherland. Nowdays the most German thing about it is the techno music playing at Virgin Records. On a nice summer night the shops stay open 'til eleven, the restaurants even later and the crowds of stylish Asian teens from Richmond almost make you forget the corner with two Starbucks.
