Vancouver's Chinatown is bustling and gritty, but it just hasn't been the same since the enormous Chinese community migrated to the suburbs and their megasized Asian malls. Even so, the steady beat of worn-down streets, wrinkly old men and black-clad gangsters is far more exciting than any box in a parking lot.
