    Moshiach is coming now!

    It seems the Hasidim in New York are a lot more assertive than their cousins in Montreal. That said, although we might not have any messiahtrucks parked on busy downtown streets, we do have a menorahmobile that drives around Mile End during Hanukkah!

    Very assertive, and not just in the religious sense. After the funeral of one of their most famous rabbis, they rioted and assaulted police for “invading the neighborhood” (South Williamsburg) when they responded.
