Calling all the major political parties in Quebec "white supremacist organizations" means we clearly have different ideas about what is alarmist and what is accurate. I can't seriously argue against you if that's your starting point.

Was that research assistant a member of the PQ, PLQ, ADQ, SSJB or any other white supremacist organization?

Sounds like it.

Btw, that Saturday Night article you call "alarmist" was accurate.

Napoleon Woo apologized on tv saying he was misquoted in that article, in order to save his business.

Ask him.

Incidentally, on that note, there is something haunting about the idea of a lost Chinatown. Wayson Choy found enough ghosts in Vancouver's Chinatown to write two books; I can only imagine what he would have found had he grown up in a Chinatown that became a ghost itself.

Fascinating post, Patrick. I was very surprised to see the Nationalist Party headquarters when I was last in Quebec City; not too long after that, there was an interesting article in the Globe and Mail about Quebec City's Chinatown and the plan to rebuild it (featuring many of the same community leaders you mention in this entry).
