Scaling an Abandoned Silo

Next to the Redpath Lofts, on the Lachine Canal, is an abandoned sugar silo. Somehow, we ended up at the top.

   But how did you get down in the dark?! Apparently you survived to tell us about it, so there must not have been too much drinking going on! In my youth, we were known to pull a keg of beer on top of a radio tower and lay back and enjoy the view.

   I was up there in ‘89 while doing some pictures for a Concordia student film shoot in the yard below. That was even before graffiti at Redpath. Nice shots!
