Sam Imberman is an urbanite who can’t seem to stop moving around. He’s originally from that most maligned of American states, New Jersey, but several years ago he picked up and transplanted himself to Montreal. Call him a poseur, but as his love for his adopted city grew, his original desire “just to fit in” turned into a deeper curiosity about the Montrealer’s psyche. Now he’s left again, this time for a year in Paris. He’ll be sending regular dispatches from the City of Light.
