A new architect and inhabitant of Montreal since 1996, Owen grew up in Vancouver and completed his Masters of Architecture at McGill University in 2001. During his Masters, Owen began to develop his ideas of ecological architecture and urban design along the theme of the “ecosensual“. He is also a local militant with the Comité Avenue Mont-Royal verte and a board member of ArchiBio. Owen is also the president of the Urban Ecology Centre of Montreal.
Owen’s goals include using ecosensual design to connect urban life to the cycles and presence of the living world.
